Supposedly when the ginkgo leaves fall on the sidewalks of New York City it means we've all survived another summer. I always wait to be sure.

New York City greenery

In New York City women grow these outdoor hats all year round, then pluck them to wear at the Mad Hatter's Society Tea Party. Works for me.

Take matters in hand

After living in the back yard as a complete bicycle for years, rusting and complaining, this bicycle took matters into it's own "hands" and decided to become useful in many different ways.

Mosaic table for the garden

If you pot plants on a mosiac table like this one, especially if you mosaiced it, the plants are guaranteed to grow. Course they may grow tiles, but growing is growing.

I've posted this before, but it's still one of my favorites. The plants are alive and well in Mailbu. Who wouldn't thrive there?

Elephant ears and tea cup garden

These tea cups and tea pots looked at the elephant ears and said, "place mats". The elephant ears chose the garden instead of the dining room table. Teacups agreed, one banana plant crashed the party and all live happily ever after as welcome home greeters in the driveway garden.

Coins in the fountain

Throw coins in this fountain, they go all the way to the middle of the earth, grab your wish and throws the wish back up to the fountain. If you're smart you'll catch the wish put it in your pocket and keep it there until the wish comes true or like me you realize you'll believe anything you read.

Spider mums only visit at night

These Spider Mums jump out of their pots at night and visit all the gossipy plants in the garden. They start awful rumors; begonias and bumble bees, pumpkins and petunias, garden forks and frogs - well you get the idea.

So be careful, be very careful.

And don't forget:
