Will it snow?

They're predicting snow. Do you think glass gingko leaves will grow in the garden like they did last time it snowed?

Bowling ball mosaic

Another bowling ball I mosaiced. Though it survived several years outside, the very cold weather we had last winter made a lot of the tiles slide off. I use to enjoy the picture because it reminded me of what the mosaic ball looked like in tact. Now I enjoy it for the snow.

Snowing in Manhattan

Called Pam in Manhattan today when I saw it's snowing AGAIN. Even the Upper East Side didn't catch a break. I've been welding a giant umbrella for her and Ronnie's apartment building to protect them from the elements. Can't figure out what canvas to use for between the prongs. Any suggestions?

BlackJack and insulators in the snow

I would love to keep the snow on the insulator chandelier and put lights inside. Wouldn't that be cool? But only occasional snow on BlackJack. He's good for a few minutes, but then ready to come in.

Don't forget to vote for Barbara Dybala's mixer. I'm getting lots of names through email because friends can't figure out how to leave comments on the blog. I love that they're just like me.

Let It Ice

After the great ice storm, diamond and fairy dust sparkles everywhere. Here's a little tennis shoe fairy who lives in our back yard.
