New heart

Of course this heart was suppose to be ready in time for Valentine's Day. Next Valentine's Day now. I'd like to do something similar to this but a puzzle piece. However, we must have discipline. First work on State Fair of Texas piece for the outdoor sculpture show and then can play with puzzles. Should have worked today, but Bob and I were invited to meet Martha and Steve for lunch. Couldn't pass that up.

Snowing in Manhattan

Called Pam in Manhattan today when I saw it's snowing AGAIN. Even the Upper East Side didn't catch a break. I've been welding a giant umbrella for her and Ronnie's apartment building to protect them from the elements. Can't figure out what canvas to use for between the prongs. Any suggestions?

Happy Valentine's Day 2011

Last weekend's For Love of Art show sale was also listed in D Magazine. Very nice of them. I'll remember to ask them to put in our May White Rock East Garden Tour & Artisans. Here's the link on D Magazine.

Happy New Year 2011

Happy New Wish List Year 2011

May Prince William’s male pattern baldness stop right there.

May Regis Philbin keep his morning show since the alternative is Kathie Lee on the other network.

May your car soon be paid for, for the President of Shell oil says gas is going to $5.00 a gallon. But when has he ever paid for a gallon of gas?

May you find an article of clothing with a size tag that comes close to what you think your size is.

May your parents antique answering machine finally give up so you can say you called, really, the machine’s broken.

May the wind come by right after your neighbor’s blown all his leaves on your yard and cover his yard with twice as many leaves as he started with.

And may you learn to fly that plane, discover a cure for cancer or use the glue gun without burning your fingertips off.

Happy New Year
